My work takes the form of classic iron work containers and from the inspiration of weaving and basketry has brought about the collection of sculptural iron work pieces. The material of iron was enlightned in me from a course i completed on blacksmithing in which a fire was lit for me to make the use of the material. The combination of 'cheaper'  materials and precious metals like silver i feel add a bright contrast into the work.
